Generation Z's attitude towards crypto assets is quietly changing the narrative of the entire industry.

According to the latest survey data, trust in crypto assets among Generation Z in the US has actually surpassed that of traditional banks—what's behind this shift? Ultimately, it's the three key factors: asset autonomy, verifiability, and control.

The specific numbers are quite interesting. Nearly half of Generation Z (49%) have already engaged in practical operations on crypto exchanges, and over one-third (37%) currently hold or use various crypto assets. More importantly, 22% of Generation Z explicitly state that they trust crypto assets more than traditional financial institutions to manage their wealth. This ratio, when compared across generations, is significantly higher than that of Generation X.

This trust gap reflects more than just a generational aesthetic shift; it signifies a complete transfer of values—from passive acceptance of institutional custody to actively taking control of one's assets. The transparency and verifiability provided by the crypto network are becoming the core competitive advantages in attracting the new generation of users.

Really, Z guys have already seen through it. The banking system is outdated, who doesn't want sovereignty? 49% have tried it? I believe it, I am one of them anyway. Three months ago, they said crypto was a scam, now everyone is HODLing. The change in sentiment is really fast. The centralized nature of traditional finance explains why people don't trust it.

Wow, finally we have data to support our group... 22% trust crypto more than traditional banks, this is just the beginning. Oh my God, is Generation Z playing like this? I thought we were the only crazy ones. Autonomy is truly irreversible; who still wants to be controlled by the bank daddy? Blatant generational divide, Generation X probably hasn't caught on to this at all. This data is incredible, half of Generation Z is trading on exchanges, we are really changing something. It's all about that control, basically not wanting to be cut like a chive hahaha. Verifiability > everything, this is the winner's mindset.
