Overview of the Animecoin Project

Animecoin (ANIME) aims to transform global anime fans into community-managed networks. Currently, most anime fans participate only as spectators, but Animecoin’s goal is to position them as active participants and, in a sense, owners.

As a cultural token, Animecoin converts cultural atmosphere into real value, integrating the anime world with blockchain technology. The cryptocurrency named ANIME functions as a Gas token on Animechain, and users need ANIME to execute any transactions.

Project Founders

Animecoin was founded in 2022 by Alex Xu, who uses the pseudonym Zagabond.

How Animecoin Works

Animecoin aims to turn fans of the anime industry into active participants. In this design, Animechain, anime.com, and Azuki IP play important roles.

Animechain is a third-layer blockchain developed using Arbitrum Orbit technology. All transactions on the network are completed using ANIME tokens, which serve as Gas tokens. It is reported that Animechain supports 40,000 transactions per second.

anime.com serves as the distribution platform for the ecosystem. It aims to become the social layer of the anime world, similar to Discord. It focuses on visuals, live streaming, and digital collectibles.

Azuki IP encourages co-creation, enabling the community to shape characters and stories. Ultimately, the ecosystem is managed by AnimeDAO, with ANIME token holders having voting rights.

Details of ANIME Token

ANIME is the cryptocurrency of the Animecoin ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on community ownership. It facilitates transaction execution, governance, and value sharing among fans.

The total supply is 10 billion ANIME, with the token distribution plan as follows:

  • Community: 50.5%
  • Azuki Community: 37.5%
  • Community Development: 13%
  • Domain Expansion: 24.44%
  • Team, Advisors, and Company: 23.06%
  • Partners: 2%

ANIME has broad uses within the ecosystem. First, it is used as a Gas token on Animechain, and as a governance token within AnimeDAO. Additionally, it funds independent creators and strengthens the DAO treasury.

How to Buy ANIME

To purchase Animecoin, follow these steps:

  1. Create an account on a cryptocurrency trading platform
  2. Complete the identity verification process
  3. Deposit funds into your account via bank transfer, credit card, etc.
  4. Search for Animecoin or ANIME on the marketplace
  5. Click the “Buy” button
  6. Enter the amount you wish to purchase
  7. Confirm the transaction
  8. The purchased cryptocurrency will be transferred to your account shortly

Another cultural token... Can it really turn hobbies into income? --- Anime fans becoming owners? Sounds good, but I'm just worried it’s another pump-and-dump scheme --- Gas fees require ANIME? First, see how fast this chain can run --- Community-driven has been said too many times; the key is whether there are real application scenarios --- Turning fans into participants, this concept is actually quite interesting... But can it succeed? --- Another community-driven project, another cultural token, I’m familiar with this routine --- Animechain? Never heard of it. Is this a new public chain or a side chain? --- Why isn’t the founder information fully filled out? That’s a bit suspicious --- How to convert cultural atmosphere into value? What about the details? --- Anime ecosystem + blockchain, sounds dreamy but has it really been implemented?

Fan anime become owners? That sounds pretty good... but on the other hand, it's another cultural token. Projects like these never last long. --- Gas fees also require ANIME? Come on, it's the same old trick of cutting the leeks. --- Wait, the community-managed network... how decentralized does it need to be? Feels like it will get chaotic. --- I just want to know who the founding team is... why isn't that part finished? --- Turning fans into owners sounds very Web3, but in reality, big influencers often just cut retail investors. --- I've never even heard of animechain. How is the ecosystem guaranteed?

It's another cultural token, and it's community-driven... Why does this explanation sound so familiar? Anime fans becoming owners? First, someone has to take over the deal haha

Anime community on the blockchain? Sounds good, but I don't know if it can really bring actual benefits to fans. Another cultural token, it feels like there are way too many projects like this. ANIME as a gas token... this kind of setup isn't very common, but it seems pretty interesting. Community-driven sounds high-level, but in the end, it still depends on whether the development team is reliable. It sounds nice, but let's see how far this project can go. Why does it seem so difficult for projects like this to raise funds? Turning fans into owners? That's a creative idea, but it's quite challenging to implement. I'm not very optimistic; the path of cultural tokens is too competitive.

Anime community tokens? Sounds good, but it feels like that old trick of "empowering fans" again. --- Gas tokens require holding tokens to interact, this logic... is a bit like disguised pump-and-dump. --- If you really want to turn fans into owners, it depends on how community governance is handled; otherwise, it's still the same centralized approach. --- The name animecoin is a bit random, but I'm quite curious whether it can truly unlock the wallets of anime fans. --- Another player in the cultural token track, let's see how long it can last. --- Community-driven sounds appealing, but in the end, it's usually just a few people making the decisions.

Anime fans becoming online owners? Sounds pretty good, definitely better than just being an audience. It's another cultural token, why does this pattern feel so familiar... Gas fees are probably an issue too. How high does ANIME need to go to become truly useful? But if it can really give the 二次元 community a voice, then it's definitely worth paying attention to.

Anime fans become owners? Sounds good, but I'm worried it's just another scam to fleece investors.

Another cultural token? I've seen this trick too many times. While it's nice to treat secondary fans as the main audience, can it really be implemented?
