Here's What Actually Drives My Trading Edge

People often ask why my win rate stays consistently high. It's not magic—it comes down to a few core principles that separate profitable traders from the rest.

First, I stick to setups with asymmetric risk-reward ratios. Risking $1 to make $3+ isn't negotiable. Most retail traders chase breakeven trades and wonder why they're broke.

Second, psychology matters more than indicators. I've seen traders with perfect technical analysis blow accounts because they panic-sold winners or held losers hoping for reversals. Discipline beats brilliance every time.

Third, position sizing isn't optional—it's survival. Even with an 80% win rate, one bad trade can wipe you out if you're over-leveraged. I size positions so losing streaks don't hurt.

Finally, I trade conviction, not noise. When the setup aligns with my strategy, I take it. When it doesn't, I sit on my hands. Boredom in trading is often a sign you're doing it right.

The win rate speaks for itself when you eliminate emotion and follow a process.

To be honest, this set of things sounds good, but I've seen too many people who know these principles but still end up losing money... Maintaining the right mindset is really too difficult.

You're not wrong, but the truth is... making money is really that simple, don't make it so complicated.

Position sizing has really been severely underestimated; how many people go all-in and end up wiped out by a black swan?

To be honest, I agree with this logic. I also strictly adhere to the risk-reward ratio of 1:3. Traders who pursue high win rates often end up bankrupt. Position management is the key to survival. My mining machine portfolio is based on this principle—it's better to have slower hash rate growth than to over-leverage all at once.
