The entry barrier for BTCFi is often much higher than expected. Too many operational steps, too many trust settings, too many prerequisite concepts—all of these block users from actual interaction. Truly good DeFi products shouldn't constantly compete for users' attention. Their job is to solve a problem and then quietly step back from the stage. Some teams happen to understand this and insist on doing subtraction rather than addition, making the BTCFi experience truly effortless.

Speaking of which, the high threshold issue is not a product design problem at all, but rather that most project teams haven't clearly figured out their funding flow model. Just look at the on-chain data, and you'll see that those teams claiming to "simplify the experience" haven't actually reduced the complexity of interactions much; they've just moved the complexity from the frontend to the backend smart contracts—this is truly a shady move.

That's right, a bunch of crappy stuff only feels satisfying when it gets complicated.

Alright, you're right. BTCFi is really intense right now, insisting on adding so many flashy features.

A pile of steps to follow, and users get tired before they even start... This is the real pain point.

That's incredible. Now even borrowing and lending require mastering eighteen different skills, it's really absurd.

You're so right, the threshold is indeed outrageous. I was discouraged by that pile of preconceived notions. --- Subtraction is the way to go. These days, too many projects are stacking features, making simple things complicated. --- That's why I still use traditional trading. The BTCFi process is really too cumbersome. --- Haha, solving the problem and then shutting up—that really hit me. Most teams can't do that. --- Wait, are there really teams doing subtraction? Please recommend. --- It's rare to find a BTCFi product that feels easy to use; most are just traps for beginners. --- The key is the trust setup. Too many steps actually make people less confident. --- Someone should have said this earlier—the UX is like a riddle.
