Tether and Lao licensed digital asset exchange Bitqik announced a new partnership. The goal of this collaboration is very clear — to promote financial education about Bitcoin and stablecoins.

What exactly will they do? Both parties plan to launch a series of online courses, while also deeply empowering through the Bitqik Academy educational platform. But the offline activities are the highlight. They will hold quarterly offline events in major Lao cities such as Vientiane, Bokeo, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang, showcasing the practical applications of stablecoins like USDT to students, communities, and entrepreneurs.

From learning to practice, from online to offline, this combined approach covers a significant scope. According to the plan, by 2026, the project's audience size will surpass an important milestone, indicating that the penetration and awareness of stablecoins in Southeast Asia will see a substantial increase. This is quite an interesting move for Tether's expansion in emerging markets.

Tether's move is quite aggressive, starting to position itself in Southeast Asia? If they really play like this until 2026... how powerful will USDT be in Laos?

Tether is playing this move well; offline events are the real way to break the circle, who actually listens to online courses?

Tether is playing chess again, Southeast Asia is indeed a lucrative market. Offline events are the only way to be convincing; just shouting slogans is useless.

On-chain data shows that Tether's address activity in Southeast Asia is indeed increasing, but the Lao chess game is worth a close look—there's a bit of a timing nuance in the contract deployment.

Tether's move is quite strategic, directly entering education to capture Southeast Asia... But can the offline efforts really convert? What is the adoption rate like over in Laos?

Laos is also beginning to be included in the stablecoin education landscape. Tether's move is quite interesting.

Reaching a target audience size by 2026? That sounds like a very Web3 "grand vision" haha.

Offline events are the core; relying solely on online courses is definitely not enough. People need to actually use it.

The potential in Southeast Asia is indeed huge. USDT penetration still has a lot of room to grow.

It seems Tether's strategy in emerging markets is this approach—education + practice + localization. Old tricks but effective.

Oh wow, Tether is starting to expand into Southeast Asia again, this time directly including Laos in its territory, covering both online and offline channels quite extensively... But honestly, how big of a wave can it make by 2026? Let's wait and see.

Tether is once again positioning itself in Southeast Asia. This online and offline combined approach is quite interesting... However, the scale it can reach by 2026 still depends on the policy direction in Laos.

Laos, Tether is playing quite interestingly here, both online and offline.

Stablecoin education has reached small towns in Southeast Asia. Before 2026, it will depend on how much penetration is achieved.

USDT's ambitions in emerging markets are growing bigger and bigger.
