Tether’s wallet development tool WDK (Wallet Development Kit) has received a new round of feature expansion. According to Tether’s head Paolo Ardoino, who recently publicly stated, the development suite has now integrated support for the RGB protocol, marking an important step in the continued evolution of this toolchain.

The RGB protocol, as an asset issuance and transfer solution on the Bitcoin blockchain, has attracted attention for its strong privacy features and excellent scalability. Tether’s WDK supporting RGB means that developers can now more conveniently build wallet applications based on this protocol, further broadening the boundaries of ecosystem development.

From a product perspective, the ongoing improvement of WDK reflects Tether’s investment in development tools. As a key decision-maker at Tether, Paolo Ardoino’s push for product feature iterations demonstrates the team’s emphasis on the underlying technology ecosystem. With the integration of multi-chain protocols like RGB, WDK’s application scenarios are also expanding, helping to attract more developers to participate in ecosystem building.
