Web3 isn't just hype anymore—it's delivering real infrastructure upgrades.
The performance race is heating up. Major layer-1 chains are competing hard on throughput, finality, and user experience. We're seeing transaction speeds improve, costs drop, and developer tooling mature across the ecosystem.
The next phase? Chain optimization going mainstream. Whether it's sharding solutions, consensus improvements, or interoperability breakthroughs, the focus has shifted from theory to actual deployment.
What's your take on which performance metrics matter most? Throughput, cost, or speed? The conversation's only getting more interesting as these networks scale.

To be honest, this round of performance competition really highlighted the gap, and some L1s simply can't keep up...

Honestly, throughput and cost still need to be balanced... Speed alone is useless, and with gas fees skyrocketing, who the hell wants to use it?

Stop pretending, the real on-chain data is right there. Most L1s are still burning money to subsidize TPS; if the incentives are removed, can they really run? Just look at the capital flow of the whales to know whether they believe in it or not.

NGL, throughput is really the true bottleneck here. Costs have come down, but TPS is still hitting a wall.

ngl What I truly believe in is cost optimization. Increasing throughput won't help if it's too fast; ordinary people simply can't afford it...

NGL, after blowing for so many years, I finally see something real. But to be honest, which is more important, throughput or cost... Anyway, I just wait and see whose gas fees drop to a usable level first.

ngl throughput is now a bit overhyped... The real bottleneck is still the cost, ordinary people simply can't afford it.

NGL Layer-1 war, this round is really boring. Whoever has higher TPS wins? Cost is the real key, alright.

Honestly, after blowing for so long, I finally see something real... But the cost is still a bit disappointing. I'll believe it when gas fees become truly affordable.
