transparency killed it—once those metrics went public, every gaming vector became exploitable. lbs, minshare, innersct... it's like publishing your own attack surface map, ngl. seen this movie before with other protocols. the irony? opaque systems got slandered for being shady, transparent ones get farmed. pick your poison i guess

Speaking of which, the entire community is just bragging, InfiRi was simply caught in the act, nothing new. Everyone is gaming, InfiRi is just the most clueless one. To put it simply, the tactics are too obvious. They used to do things secretly, but now they do it openly in broad daylight, of course, they attract more resentment. This is called shooting oneself in the foot; you have to hand over your loyalty pledge yourself, deservedly so.
