Most people's understanding of reputation is actually reversed

An account with only 10 followers often has a higher credibility than a big V with millions of fans — you would be surprised how often this happens

The numbers of followers, traffic, and influence are not that important

What truly determines how far you can go in the community are the signals of endorsement willing to vouch for you. High-quality, substantial trust endorsements are the real assets of the Web3 era. Having someone testify for you—that is the essence of reputation

I've seen too many accounts with millions of followers wiped out overnight, while ten hardcore fans actually survive until the end of the cycle. Ironically, most people are still counting their followers.

I totally agree. The aura of a big influencer can indeed easily deceive people. Quality of connections > Number of followers, which is becoming more and more obvious in the crypto circle. What’s the use of a bunch of zombie followers? The key is having someone willing to stand up and vouch for you. That’s really true—having a reliable co-signer is worth a fortune. Having many followers doesn’t necessarily mean good credit; sometimes, smaller accounts are more resilient. Web3 relies on reputation to survive; you can't fool people for too long.

I have a deep understanding: smaller accounts are actually more resistant to crashes than big V accounts.

This is the true logic of Web3: quality endorsement > traffic numbers

Well said, follower count is just superficial; the key is who is truly willing to support you.

There are only so many reliable people; no matter how many fans you have, it's all useless.

Wake up, small accounts are actually more valuable than big V accounts. How outrageous is that?

Actually... this is exactly where most people get the cryptographic primitives of reputation wrong. You can't just *measure* trust with followers—that's like confusing computational overhead with security guarantees, tbh.
