FOGO's current subscription round started at a price of 0.035U. Based on pre-market data, the theoretical increase is about 50%. However, with a 100U quota, the actual net profit is just over 50 dollars.
The key issue is the cost. BNB is now at 900U each, and participating in this subscription requires a threshold of 5500U. If financed through borrowing, the cost could soar above 7000U, plus an additional 2U in interest. The requirement of 6 BNBs is indeed quite high, making the cost-performance ratio somewhat average.
Honestly, the appeal of this subscription is not as expected. It's also unclear whether it will take off like some projects in the future, as high-quality subscription opportunities are becoming increasingly scarce. On the other hand, stable financial returns have been very attractive lately—just holding can generate passive income. There's really no need to take risks on projects with slim yields.
