ZAMA's KYC verification is really a hassle. I first tried using China Unicom's electronic invoice, but it was invalid. Then I switched to McDonald's, but it was rejected again. Finally, I passed with a Standard Chartered Bank statement PDF.

The funniest part is that the uploaded ID card is in Chinese, while the Standard Chartered statement's name and address are all in Pinyin. The difference is so big, yet it still passed the review... That's really something. It seems that the logic of these verification processes can be quite arbitrary at times.

Haha, a Standard Chartered statement is fine. Why not just ask for the passport directly?

Haha, this KYC is really like mystic certification, can you mix pinyin and Chinese characters?

This KYC really is some kind of mystical certification; pinyin and Chinese characters can be mixed together, the reviewer probably has astigmatism.

Haha, this KYC really has mysterious logic. Chinese ID cards with Pinyin on the bill can pass, what exactly are the reviewers looking at?

ngl ZAMA's KYC is genuinely broken... uploading pinyin addresses against chinese characters and still passes? that's not validation, that's just theater. the whole thing screams zero actual rigor
