Recently observed some practices in DeFi protocols, and I’d like to discuss an interesting phenomenon.

What is the biggest difference between mature protocols and new ones? It’s not the speed of launching new assets, but how they are launched.

Taking recent actions as an example, some protocols have set aside a "test field" specifically for experimenting with emerging assets like LRT and LSD. This approach actually reveals a mature way of thinking.

The specific logic is as follows—

**Level 1: Physical Isolation.** New assets are kept separate from traditional stable assets. This way, even if problems occur, they won’t affect the core ecosystem’s stability.

**Level 2: Rule Setting.** Assets in the test field must undergo stricter risk controls. Higher collateralization ratios, more stringent liquidation conditions—these are all "tuition fees." During this process, these assets gradually adapt to the ecosystem’s operational logic.

**Level 3: Dynamic Evaluation.** It’s not static. Assets that demonstrate stability and manageable risk, after sufficient market testing, are qualified to enter the mainstream area. Otherwise, they stay in the test field for further observation.

This process may seem cumbersome, but it’s actually a responsible attitude toward the entire ecosystem. Rapid expansion is easy; risk management is the real test. For long-term participants, this cautious approach is a good sign—it indicates that the ecosystem is taking its fundamentals seriously.

The health of an ecosystem is often not judged by growth speed but by the quality of growth.
