Vitalik's framing around Ethereum's resilience as a core objective has merit, but there's a fundamental gap in how he contextualizes the efficiency-versus-convenience tradeoff. The assumption that you can't compete with Silicon Valley incumbents on incremental user experience improvements might be underselling blockchain's actual positioning. It's less about beating them at their own optimization game and more about whether that game is even the right metric for decentralized systems.
