WisdomTree officially abandons the spot XRP ETF application; SEC registration statement has been withdrawn

Abstract generation in progress

【CoinPush】WisdomTree officially withdraws the registration application for the spot XRP ETF. The documents submitted to the SEC last Tuesday clearly stated that the company has decided to temporarily shelve this product and simultaneously requested the SEC to revoke the previously submitted S-1 registration statement and all attachments.

Looking back, WisdomTree only filed this S-1 with the U.S. SEC in December last year. In other words, from submission to withdrawal, it was less than three months. The exact reason behind this is not explicitly stated in the documents. However, considering that the market environment and regulatory stance around XRP have been changing during this period, the company may have made this decision based on a careful assessment of the current situation.

This can be seen as a minor setback in the path toward a spot XRP ETF. But this is quite normal—many projects go through similar adjustments during the application process for cryptocurrency ETFs. The market is still there, opportunities are still present, it’s just a matter of timing.

Oh no, this is another story of an ETF dream shattered.

The road for XRP is really bumpy, it feels like every time there's a new twist.

By the way, WisdomTree withdrew in just three months. What exactly is the reason... the official explanation is so vague.

But looking at it from another perspective, as long as the market is still here, someone will eventually take over.

There have been many such adjustments; all I can say is that crypto really keeps people on their toes.

Haha, giving up after just three months is pretty normal, anyway XRP will come back sooner or later.

Withdrew in just three months, how much pressure must that have been... Could it be that the SEC is up to some tricks again?

Withdraw in just three months? Haha, that's brilliant operation. Could it be that they were discouraged by the SEC?

It was withdrawn in just three months, the pace is a bit fast... Seems like the SEC is under quite a bit of pressure.

Ha, another one has given up. The regulatory environment really has scared everyone.

Backed down in just three months. Where was the long-term optimism?

The road for XRP's ETF is really tough, but someone will eventually step in to take over.

A bit disappointed. I thought we might see some good news.

With this pace, it feels like everyone is just waiting for a signal before taking action.

It was withdrawn in just three months; this pace is a bit rushed. It feels like there must be some unspoken reasons behind it.

Another ETF application has been rejected, but the XRP situation is just normal operation. When regulatory sentiment shifts, everyone has to adjust accordingly.
