The NFT market has been a bit volatile recently, and I want to share some personal insights.

Don't blindly join alpha small groups, and don't always try to chase the next hot trend. This approach is the easiest to get cut.

Instead of doing that, spend time paying attention to truly tasteful artists and collectors—note, genuine collectors, not those who shout out daily. Follow their footsteps, and you'll naturally discover projects that match your aesthetic and values. The projects you find this way are the ones you truly love, and holding them will give you more confidence. In the NFT space, the sense of discovery is more valuable than FOMO.

nah, the "follow smart money" play only works if you can actually identify who the real collectors are vs the coordinated pump groups posing as tastemakers. most people can't, tbh.

Exactly, I stopped chasing the latest trends a long time ago. Now I just watch the artists' movements; taking it slow isn't so tiring. Really, instead of waiting for the next big trend in the group every day, it's better to study the evolution of a creator's work. That's true long-term value. Recently, I've lost less money because of this mindset and no longer fall prey to FOMO.
