#美联储利率政策 The news about the Federal Reserve Chair candidate has been flooding the headlines recently. Seeing that Haskett's probability of becoming the next Chair has risen to 61%, I am a bit confused🤔
I've always heard about "hawkish" and "dovish" policies, and only now am I starting to understand what they mean. A hawkish stance is more concerned with inflation and tends to favor maintaining high interest rates, right? Watching Harker say they want to keep rates stable until spring, this means the possibility of rate hikes in the short term is low, but they won't be rushing to cut rates either...
What impact does this have on the crypto market? Does it mean that if interest rates stay high, the dollar will be stronger, attracting funds to flow out of the crypto market? Or the other way around? 🙈 Every time I see this kind of macroeconomic news, I start to get tangled up. It feels like the price movements of cryptocurrencies are somehow related to it.
Can someone knowledgeable help me sort this out? How exactly does Federal Reserve policy influence the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum? I haven't fully figured out this logical chain yet, and I want to understand it thoroughly with this news!
