Recalling the early development stage of the Substrate ecosystem, the toolchain was indeed somewhat primitive. It would have been great if there had been AI code assistant support when developing Substrate applications on Polkadot back then — not only could it have accelerated iteration speed, but it also could have lowered the learning curve. This shows how quickly Web3 development tools are evolving: from initially manually writing underlying logic to now having intelligent tools to assist, the overall development efficiency of the ecosystem has improved several times over.

Those early folks were really stubborn. How did they get through the days without AI assistance... Now newcomers have tools to help them, and their starting point is directly ten streets ahead of them. The gap is huge.
