Recently participated in several trading competitions in a row, securing spots in KGEN, STAR, and US. But honestly, the competition for these events is really fierce now. Yesterday's trading was a bit off, and I lost 40u before getting out😂
Frankly, spots in trading contests are becoming increasingly scarce, and to achieve stable profits, every step needs to be taken with caution. One careless move could lead to being counter-rolled.
Interestingly, the two tokens KGEN and US are available in some major exchange's contract products for hedging. From a risk management perspective, this is still useful. However, the hedging returns for US are just too slim, so I ultimately abandoned that idea.
On the other hand, STAR doesn't have contract tools, which makes me a bit worried—when rewards are distributed, will the liquidity be insufficient and cause a sudden drop? This is something to keep an eye on.
Without a contract, STAR is really tough. When it comes to pumping or dumping, it all depends on the mood of the heavens. That's the real gambler.
Hedging yields are slim; not hedging means losing outright, which is actually more satisfying. At least it saves the time of self-deception.
STAR indeed carries high risk. Everyone has experienced liquidity crashes. You must stick to your bottom line and not be greedy.
The liquidity on STAR is indeed worrying. If it really gets broken through, that will be truly painful.
---
It's really frustrating that STAR has no contract. If it really blows up, it will be tough to handle.
---
The trading competition is such a mess... I wish I hadn't participated. It would have been better to just focus on spot trading.
---
The hedging profit in the US is slim, I have to admit. It feels like just wasting gas fees.
---
Anti-rebound strategies are hard to defend against. Every time, I have to stay on high alert.
You definitely need to be cautious with STAR liquidity. If it gets smashed through, it'll be too late to cry.
