What's your crypto resolution for 2026? Let me break down what we should actually be watching out for this year:

Rug pulls remain the oldest trick in the book—projects that vanish with liquidity overnight. Wallet drains keep happening through compromised keys or phishing schemes. Fake profit and loss screenshots flood social media, making losses look like gains. Celebrity meme coin extractions have become predictable: hype from famous figures, then a coordinated dump. And fake utility airdrops? They're everywhere—promising tokens for nothing, leading to gas fee waste or worse.

So maybe our real 2026 resolution should be: actually do your own research, verify twice, and skip anything that smells off.

Same old story, what can happen in 2026? It's nothing but rug pulls, wallets being emptied, fake screenshots everywhere... The nice-sounding ones are all scams, and only a few can really survive.

To be honest, it's really not easy to survive in the crypto world these days, with new tricks to scam people every day. The most outrageous are those celebrity coins—fans rush in, only to find out that they cashed out and ran away long ago. Now, whenever I see a project with a fierce attitude, I just cut the attention in half. Anyway, DYOR has been talked about for so long, but no one really follows through.

Here comes that old familiar routine again... but indeed, this year these tactics have become more and more obvious, especially those fake airdrops, which are really just pure money grabbing.

Honestly, these tricks have been overused for a long time. It's really incredible that people still fall for them every year.

Still the same old tricks after all these years, people die every year, and 2026 will be the same... The key is how many people actually do their own research (DYOR). I think most still follow the crowd and buy.

You're so right. I lost hundreds of dollars on fake airdrops this year, wasting gas fees, and I thought I was making a profit. Only later did I realize it was all a scam. I've seen too many celebrity coin schemes—some celebrity shares a post, and the naive investors rush in, waiting to be harvested. I'm tired of hearing "DYOR," but honestly, no one really does it; everyone just wants to try their luck.

Damn, here comes the celebrity coin trick again, always the same routine... Still, the same advice: DYOR really can't save most people.
