A wave of production halts has recently hit the battery industry supply chain. Multiple lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) manufacturers such as Hunan Yune, Wanrun New Energy, Defang Nano, and Anda Technology have successively announced shutdowns for maintenance, which has stirred the nerves of the entire supply chain.
From the lithium salt side, leading companies like Tianqi Lithium, Huanglong Mining, and Shengxin Lithium Energy are also adjusting their production schedules. Regarding lithium iron phosphate, besides the shutdowns mentioned above, the actions of Hunan Yune, Defang Nano, and Wanrun New Energy are the most closely watched.
The supply side of lithium hexafluorophosphate includes Tianji Co., Duofudu, and Tinci Materials, whose capacity changes directly impact electrolyte supply. Speaking of electrolytes, Huasheng Lithium Battery, Fudi Group, and Xinzhoubang are all布局ing the VC electrolyte track, while EC solvents are mainly dominated by Haike New Source, Shida Shenghua, and Ouke Co., Ltd.
Additionally, thionyl chloride materials are supplied by Kaisen New Materials, Shilong Industrial, and Jinhe Industrial, while the diaphragm sector is dominated by Enjie Co., Cangzhou Mingzhu, and Fosu Technology. The entire industry chain—from upstream raw materials to midstream processing and downstream key components like diaphragms—is covered by this wave of maintenance, which may cause short-term pressure on industry capacity release.
