Solana Founder predicts 2026: Stablecoins surpass one trillion, AI to break a thousand-year-old problem
【CryptoWorld】Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko recently shared some views on 2026 on social media, which are quite interesting. He believes there will be major movements in stablecoins, with the scale surpassing 1 trillion USD being inevitable. This trend can already be seen from the explosion in DeFi last year—both institutions and retail investors are pouring money into stablecoins.
Additionally, he maintains a rational attitude towards quantum computing and controlled nuclear fusion, thinking that these two technologies will remain largely the same in 2026, and the probability of them being practically implemented in the short term is very low. This shows he has a clear understanding of the timeline for technological advancements.
What’s even more interesting is his strong optimism about AI. He predicts that AI will solve a problem that has plagued humanity for thousands of years by 2026. Although he didn't specify which problem, this signals a strong message—AI development is already beginning to address deep-rooted issues.
In terms of hard technology, he also mentioned that humanoid robots might ship 100,000 units, and Starship will complete two commercial flights. These predictions together reflect a broader trend: 2026 will be a year of technological breakthroughs.
