To be honest, the biggest risk in trading contracts is not often that you misjudge the direction, but rather the risk of the exchange itself. 😂
It's just like choosing a wife; you intend to live a good life, but you ended up choosing someone who tricked you into marriage!
The saying that choice is more important than effort is absolutely true!
When trading contracts on a centralized exchange (CEX), there are a few things you face that are quite real:
•Is the money there? You can only "believe" that it is there.
• How are the risk control rules determined? You can't see them.
•Is there a pinning, is there risk control harvesting? You can only guess afterwards.
•Something went wrong, we can only wait for the announcement and explanation.
The core issue can be summed up in one sentence: both the funds and the rules are not transparent.
@StandX_Official The biggest difference is that it is "on-chain contract trading."
🔹 Where the money is, can be seen at a glance.
All funds are on-chain, the TVL amount, fund flow, contract address, all are public, there is no "black box."
🔹 The rules are hard-coded in the contract and cannot be changed.
The liquidation rules, clearing logic, and fund settlement are all executed by smart contracts, not just decided by some risk control personnel on a whim.
🔹 There is no room for manipulation.
There will be no sudden rule changes, no artificial price manipulation, and there is no "if you make money, I will restrict you."
🔹 TVL is determined by the market.
A high TVL indicates that people are using real money; no one would keep large amounts of money in an unreliable place for a long time.
🔹 The trading experience is on par with CEX
Placing orders, transactions, slippage, depth, the experience is already very close to or even does not lose to centralized exchanges, unlike the lagging DEXs of earlier years.
When opening contracts on CEX, you are a "trustee";
When trading contracts on STANDX, you are using "trusted code + trusted on-chain data."
As more and more people begin to realize the exchange risks > trading risks,
On-chain contract trading is definitely a trend, and #STANDX is riding this trend.
