The Launch of the AI Manhattan Project by the U.S. National Team

The U.S. Department of Energy, in collaboration with OpenAI and 24 other giants including Google, has launched the national AI "Genesis Project," with participants including Microsoft, Google, NVIDIA, OpenAI, DeepMind, Anthropic, and others.
The AI models and computing platforms of the United States will be comprehensively applied for the first time in significant scientific research areas such as controlled nuclear fusion, energy material discovery, climate simulation, and quantum computing algorithms. This marks a national-level strategic adjustment in the U.S. technology sector, shifting from individual efforts to systemic collective breakthroughs.
