The Polish government has resubmitted the previously vetoed crypto bill, which is identical to the original bill with no amendments. This move has sparked tension between President Karol Niewroki and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The bill proposes to designate the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) as the primary regulator of the national crypto asset market. Although critics argue that the bill is overly cumbersome, a government spokesperson stated that Niewroki is unlikely to veto the bill again at this time, as he is now fully aware of its implications for national security.
