SEC Chairman Atkins just confirmed a shocking $68 trillion timeline for tokenized markets that leaves legacy infrastructure dangerously exposed



The US is racing global competitors to bridge the $68 trillion market gap with blockchain-based innovation. The US stock market is estimated at roughly $68 trillion, but currently only about $670 million of that value exists on the chain in tokenized form. Last week, Paul Atkins, chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said tokenization could become a central feature of US markets within "a few years", describing the combination of advances in electronic trading and distributed ledger technology as the most significant transformation in decades.
