## AI scams are escalating, your account is at risk

AI has made scams increasingly sophisticated. Those low-level typo-laden emails are outdated; now they can clone your family members' voices using AI, generate realistic videos and websites, and even trick you with fake bank customer service phone calls.

**The latest scams include**: fake websites tricking you into entering your account password, then pretending to be your bank calling to deceive you for a one-time password; also, injecting false information into search engines, leading you to find the "official customer service number" which is actually the scammer's number.

**5 Tips to Protect Yourself**:

1. **Beware of Urgent Matters** - Legitimate financial institutions will not rush you to make emergency transfers or ask you to keep things confidential. If you encounter this, report it directly to the police.
2. **Don't rush to click links** - Hang up on unknown links and calls, and proactively verify through official channels.
3. **Don't Trust AI Summaries** - Check the bank's customer service phone number, go to the official website or look on the back of the card, don't rely on search engines.
4. **Password Defense** - Password manager + Two-factor authentication + Regular automatic updates, fully covered defense
5. **Real-time Account Monitoring** - Enable account alerts and credit report monitoring to detect anomalies immediately.

In simple terms, upgrade your security defenses and don't give fraudsters an opportunity.
