The most frequently asked question by SHIB fans: Can it rise to 1 dollar? The answer might break your defenses.
First, let's look at the numbers: the current price of SHIB is $0.000008, to reach $1 it needs to rise 12.5 million times. Sounds crazy? But it rose 45 million times in 2021, so theoretically it's possible.
But there is a problem here - the supply. Currently, there are 589.2 trillion SHIB in circulation. If each SHIB is worth 1 dollar, the market capitalization would be 589.2 trillion dollars. What does this concept mean? The global GDP is only 111 trillion, and the S&P 500 is only 57 trillion. SHIB would be worth 5 times the entire global economy.
Is there any way? Yes—burning coins. Theoretically, if you burn 99.99998% of SHIB and leave only 4.8 billion coins, the market value will remain at 4.8 billion dollars, making each coin worth 1 dollar.
But the reality is harsh: the SHIB community only burned 94.2 million coins last month, at this rate it will take 521,415 years to burn enough. In other words, your great-great-great... grandson might only see this day.
In simple terms, SHIB lacks real application scenarios, and relying solely on burning coins and speculation is unlikely to go far. Instead of waiting for 500,000 years, it is better to look at projects with practical uses.
