#FIL Friends, should we increase the position at this price level? Let's hear your thoughts.
Some altcoins have now fallen below the lows of the 2022 Bear Market. Coins like DOT, ETC, SAND, and ATOM, which were relatively popular back then, are now performing disappointingly — even lower than the lowest point three years ago.
In contrast, BTC, OKB, and BNB have long surpassed the peaks of the last bull run. This is probably what is referred to as the "value selection mechanism" at work.
Time is a cruel touchstone. If you had bought the dip on SAND today in 2022 and held it for a full three years, your account would still show a loss of over 70%. But if you had chosen OKB, BNB, or BTC back then, you would now be holding at least 3 to 5 times the return.
The market can sometimes be so paradoxical — you think you are making a head start, but in fact, you are stepping into a pit; you think you are taking it slow, yet you end up reaching the finish line. Choosing is truly more important than effort.
