Balancer protocol is moving forward with plans to return $8 million to affected users following that massive exploit earlier this year. The DeFi platform got hit for around $128 million total, and while that's a brutal number, recovering even a portion shows they're committed to making things right. This kind of post-hack fund distribution doesn't happen overnight—there's legal stuff, tracking wallet addresses, verifying claims. But getting 8 mil back into circulation? That's meaningful for the folks who took losses. Still a long road ahead, but it's progress in an industry where exploits often end with radio silence.

8 million sounds like a lot, but how can you fill a hole of 128 million like this? You might as well wait until the year of the monkey... But to be fair, at least Balancer is willing to step up, which is better than those who just do a Rug Pull.

8 million sounds like a lot, but they lost 128 million... this level of compensation is really just average.

At least they didn't shift the blame, which is pretty good in the crypto world; most protocols have long disappeared without a sound.

I feel there will be further legal pump, this matter is far from over.

8 million refund sounds like a lot, but 128 million can't be filled... At least the attitude is okay, not like some projects that black out and run away.

8 million? Sounds like a lot, but to be honest, it only covers 6%... At least there's an attitude, it's better than those Rug Pull projects.
