On-chain lottery, GameFi treasure chest opening, NFT mystery boxes... These gameplay experiences are indeed enjoyable, but have you considered this? If the random numbers behind them are tampered with, wouldn't the so-called "fairness" become a joke?

Traditional random number generation methods indeed have this flaw - the results can be predicted or manipulated. The more invested users are, the more severe the backlash when they discover the tricks, leading to a crisis of trust and compliance risks for the project team.

The VRF (Verifiable Random Function) launched by WINkLink is aimed at addressing this pain point. It can generate truly unpredictable and publicly verifiable random numbers, with each result being traceable for verification. No one can know the answer in advance, and no one can alter the record afterwards. For on-chain random scenarios, this mechanism is equivalent to laying a foundation of trust—users can play with peace of mind, and project parties can confidently prove that they haven't cheated.

In simple terms, VRF addresses not only technical issues but also the trust issues within the entire ecosystem.

It's another marketing copy of this set of VRF, it sounds fantastic, but will those project parties really use it on-chain?

Every day the project party says "100% fair", but as soon as you turn around, you get played people for suckers. Hilarious.

ngl, the RNG manipulation angle hits different once you actually map the attack vectors... most devs just slap a pseudo-random on it and call it "trustless" lmao. VRF's verifiable commitment scheme basically forecloses the MEV extraction pathways that plague these lotteries. solid infrastructure play, not gonna lie.

I'm already tired of the lottery mystery box traps, and the key is to be wary of tampering... VRF sounds reliable, but projects that can actually be implemented are still scarce.

Haha, I've seen through it long ago. Those mystery box lotteries are just a eyewash harvesting machine. Fortunately, there's VRF to save the day.
