The decentralized exchange Aerodrome on the Base chain has recently encountered some issues. The official team just released an emergency notice, suspecting a DNS hijacking attack.

What does this mean? Basically, someone may have tampered with things and redirected their website’s domain. The official advice is clear: don’t visit the main site for now, and wait until they finish investigating.

The team is currently working hard to investigate, and the specific scope of the impact is still being determined. Although this type of DNS-level attack isn’t particularly common, if it happens, users can easily be redirected to phishing sites. So if you were planning to trade on Aerodrome recently, it’s recommended to wait and get the latest safe access methods from their official social media accounts.

Although decentralized exchanges keep funds relatively safe on-chain, you still need to be careful with the front-end access points.

DNS hijacking again? Even front-end isn’t safe these days. Aerodrome, please save us quickly.

Damn, another DNS hijacking. Is there really no one who can properly run an exchange these days?

Decentralization won't save you. Once the frontend breaks, it's all over.

I've said it before, we need to be wary of phishing sites. Looks like someone is going to get hurt again.

Aerodrome really let us down this time. I don't even trust their official social media anymore.

Let's not touch it for now. We'll talk once the storm passes.

How many people are going to be directed to fake websites this time?

DNS attacks at such a low level are truly unpreventable.

On-chain security is useless. Just one wrong input method and it's gone.

Looks like it needs to be added to the blacklist for observation.

DNS got hijacked? They can even pull this off, those phishing site tricks are really impossible to guard against.

The DNS has been hijacked, we need to be careful now; phishing websites are hard to defend against.

DNS got hijacked? Damn, even domain names aren’t safe these days. The frontend security of decentralized exchanges is just too weak.

DNS has been hijacked? Here we go again. These days, you even have to worry just to access a DEX.

DNS has been hijacked? Here we go again with this trap, come on, in this day and age, the DEX frontend is even more fragile than the capital itself.
