There is a new project called KGeN, specifically aimed at solving the issues of game distribution in emerging markets. The core logic is: traditional game issuers cannot be relied upon in emerging markets, so KGeN has created a "clan" model, allowing local community leaders to organize players themselves, eliminating intermediary costs.

The technical highlight is "Proof of Gamer", which simply means creating an on-chain identity profile for each player—your achievements, game history, and community relationships are all on-chain and can be used across platforms. For publishers, it allows them to identify real players (no fear of bot traffic), and for players, achievements won't be locked to a single platform.

The total supply of the $KGEN token is 1 billion, with 40% allocated to the community (rewards + ecosystem), which is a reasonable ratio. The financing background is good, with Accel India and Naspers Ventures both participating, and the latest round also brought in Aptos Foundation and Polygon Labs.

In terms of the token mechanism, players, issuers, and clan leaders can stake $KGEN to obtain different benefits—players receive a multiplier on their stakes, clan leaders' staking determines the maximum size of the clan, and issuers' staking can reduce customer acquisition costs. This creates an ecosystem where "all four parties benefit."

It is still in the pre-TGE phase, and rKGEN (pre-launch token) is already circulating on Aptos, supporting staking for 30-365 days, which can ultimately be converted to $KGEN at a 1:1 ratio.

To be honest, the idea behind this project is indeed different - it doesn't rely on NFT games, nor on play-to-earn scholarship models, but genuinely seeks to address the question of "how publishers can sell games to Africa, South Asia, and Latin America." Whether it can be implemented is another matter, but at least it is not just a concept fabricated out of thin air.

Risk points: The payment capability of emerging markets is inherently weak, and whether the value of token rewards can remain stable is a big issue. Additionally, the "clan leader" model is prone to abuse or manipulation. Let's wait and see when it officially launches.
