Jumped into that Synthetix trading comp a while back. Started off hot—actually thought I had this thing figured out. Then reality hit hard midway through, got absolutely wrecked on a few positions. Portfolio took a beating I wasn't expecting.
Still though, the competition format was solid. Good liquidity, clean execution. Just my risk management that fell apart.
Already planning the comeback. Next round's gonna be different—tighter stops, better position sizing. Sometimes you gotta get burned to learn what actually works in DeFi trading.
