Crypto payments have long been criticized for their slow speed and poor scalability, and the eCash team has provided their answer. This project combines Satoshi Nakamoto's Consensus with the Avalanche Consensus, attempting to enhance transaction throughput while ensuring Decentralization.

I recently chatted with their development team and felt that this hybrid consensus indeed has some novelty. Unlike those chains that purely pursue TPS, eCash emphasizes finding a balance between security and efficiency. There are also specialized designs for privacy protection, as payment scenarios have higher requirements for anonymity.

The team also showcased their implementation roadmap, primarily targeting everyday payment scenarios. Whether it can truly be popularized depends on subsequent ecological construction, but at least the technical direction is quite clear—solving actual pain points is more important than merely boosting data.

The mixed consensus trap sounds good, but actually getting it to work is another story.

Wait, privacy + payments... isn't this just copying an old project? New wine in an old bottle?

Ecological construction is the key; what's the use of speed without application scenarios?

Mixed Consensus sounds good, but it really needs to be usable.

---

Here comes another TPS boast, privacy design... let's talk about actual application data later.

---

No matter how clear the roadmap is, in the end, it still ends up as a half-finished product. Why should eCash be any different?

---

Payment scenarios are indeed a necessity; they got this part right, but let's see if the ecosystem can keep up.

---

Satoshi Nakamoto + Avalanche's modification, the idea is creative, but let's see if it can run stably for two months before boasting.

---

Finding a balance between security and efficiency, this has been said a thousand times.
