The knowledge of the crypto world covers several core zones such as basic concepts, trading methods, and risk prevention. Below are the key contents that every Newbie must have:
1. Core Basic Concepts: The core technology is blockchain, which is a decentralized distributed ledger, and to tamper with data, one must control 51% of the nodes across the network. Assets are divided into Coin (such as native currencies like Bitcoin) and Token (such as project points like UNI); there are also important ecological concepts like DeFi (decentralized finance, which achieves lending and other functions through smart contracts) and NFT (digital ownership certificates). Additionally, the crypto world and the chain world are different; the crypto world focuses on trading coins for profit, while the chain world concentrates on the research and development of blockchain technology.
2. Main trading related: Trading is divided into spot (direct purchase of assets, suitable for Newbie) and contracts (leveraged bets on price fluctuations, extremely high risk). Traders need to understand candlestick charts, pay attention to support levels, resistance levels, and trading volume indicators, and set profit-taking and stop-loss strategies to avoid losses due to greed. Common platforms include Binance, Coinbase and other centralized exchanges, as well as Uniswap and other decentralized exchanges.
3. Asset Storage and Security: Assets should be stored in wallets, which can be hardware wallets (such as Ledger, high security) or software wallets (such as MetaMask, convenient for transactions). The private key is the lifeline of the assets; losing it can lead to permanent loss of coins, so do not store it in cloud drives or take screenshots. When withdrawing coins, it is recommended to first test with a small amount, and after confirming receipt, transfer a larger amount.
4. Risk and Pitfall Avoidance Points: Be wary of shitcoins and air coins, as these coins mostly lack actual value and are prone to project teams running away (i.e., Rug Pull). Stay away from "copy trading teachers," as their so-called "bottom fishing and peak escaping" are mostly scams. The leverage risk is extremely high; a 10% drop with 10x leverage could lead to liquidation, so do not borrow or bet all your funds.
5. Common industry jargon: "All-in" refers to betting the entire position; "Airdrop" is when the project party distributes tokens for free; "Whale" refers to addresses that hold large amounts of coins, whose movements can influence the market; "Wash trading" is when the main force intentionally drives prices down to scare off retail investors. #广场发币瓜分千U奖池
