Injective is Turning DeFi into a Playground for Everyone

I am Tuyền, recently I had the opportunity to review the latest developments of Injective, and I noticed that this chain has quietly transformed from a “place for professional traders” into a comprehensive financial ecosystem. Notable milestones include: the launch of the original EVM mainnet, the deployment of the AI development tool iBuild, the upgrade of RWA and pre-IPO perpetual contracts, and even traditional organizations like 21Shares have submitted spot ETF applications for INJ. For a long-time user on the blockchain who doesn't want to be “overwhelmed” by the technicalities, this series of steps means much more than just “having a few good news.” iBuild – “AI + No code” turns ideas into practical applications Real-world experience shows that @Injective has turned the writing of smart contracts into an intuitive “a la carte” experience. iBuild is positioned as an AI-powered blockchain development platform: users only need to enter their requirements, and within minutes they can create DEX applications, staking pools, or asset issuance. What previously required a whole dev team working for months can now be done by an individual to create a prototype. This change really lowers the barrier to entry for DeFi: before, you had to know Solidity or CosmWasm to get it done, now you just need to know what you want, and AI will handle the coding. Another impressive point is that iBuild is deeply integrated into the #Injective modules: from derivative products, RWA to the matching order book, not just a common AI code generator, separate from the chain. Original EVM & Altria upgrade – the foundation for the new generation financial dApp Before iBuild, the launch of the native EVM along with the Altria upgrade revitalized the entire execution environment: EVM is integrated directly, transaction speed and fees have been optimized. When combined with iBuild, the boundary between users and developers becomes blurred: many who originally just “used the app” can now build their own micro-businesses on Injective. According to the official blog, the new EVM has been customized to support financial dApps, not just simply “bridging” the EVM into Cosmos; this is a completely different approach. RWA & pre-IPO – Bringing the real world onto the blockchain Injective is expanding into real-world assets (real-world assets). Starting in October, the platform will allow trading of pre-IPO perpetual contracts of top-tier companies such as OpenAI, SpaceX, Anthropic, and Perplexity. This transforms the previously capital valuation games that were only available to VCs and PEs into accessible on-chain contracts. Personally, I have tried a few small hedge orders, and both performance and slippage have been very good. More importantly, these assets are very different from meme coins or highly volatile altcoins: they reflect the actual valuation expectations of the company, providing a richer strategic space for those with fundamental knowledge. By combining iBuild, you can quickly create a “pre-IPO auto-tracking account” – something that was previously only possible for quant teams. Signal from organizations – INJ preparing to enter ETF At the end of October, 21Shares submitted an INJ spot ETF application to the US SEC. This opens up the opportunity for Injective to become an asset held by traditional funds through a legal product. Community data shows that the trading volume, staking, and RWA-related transactions of INJ in 2025 are all increasing steadily. This changes an “unwritten rule” for long-term investors: INJ is no longer just a token telling the DeFi story, but could become a core asset in the investment portfolio. NFT & user experience – perfecting the ecosystem NFTs and consumer applications are being compensated. Rarible has expanded to Injective since the summer of 2025, allowing millions to mint and trade NFTs. The new mainnet combines free minting events highlighting high performance, low fees, and a Web2-like experience. My experience minting NFTs was very smooth: from clicking to confirmation almost instantly, which is extremely important for new users. With a roadmap towards interoperable VM, RWA, and AI tools, Injective promises many hybrid applications between finance and branding, consumption. In summary: Three important points for new users Reduce barriers: EVM + iBuild allows people without coding knowledge to experiment with MVP on the chain. Expand trading assets: From pre-IPO, RWA to ETF & organized scenarios, you can position a leaner strategy rather than just going All-in on coin. Proven: When NFTs, ETFs, AI tools, and financial modules coexist on one chain, Injective's position of “born to do finance” is supported by many independent signals. Personal action suggestion (Ricky) Short term: Test iBuild, mint NFT, create hedge pre-IPO to experience the platform. Medium term: If holding INJ, monitor ETF, trading volume, staking, RWA… like stock research. Long term: The value of Injective depends on whether it can attract quality developers and organizations to build on the chain. Participating in the community, hackathons, or trying early dApps can make you an early user/builder. Injective is transforming DeFi from a niche playground into an open financial ecosystem where both ordinary people, developers, and organizations can participate and experiment with their ideas. $INJ {spot}(INJUSDT)
