Egg prices are going crazy! The disparity in egg prices across U.S. states is outrageous.

Recently, egg prices have been fluctuating. In mid-March, the average price of eggs in the U.S. dropped to $4.90 per dozen, seeming to stabilize, but the differences between states are enormous.

Hawaii has the most expensive eggs at $9.73 per dozen, which is twice the national average and up 122% compared to last year. Florida, Arizona, and California are also above $6.

Where are the cheaper states? Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas are around $4.25, nearly the original price. Indiana has the lowest at just $4.33.

Interestingly, consumers in Hawaii pay more than twice as much for the same eggs compared to those in Missouri. This price divergence truly reflects the economic realities of different regions in the U.S.
