My journey began at the peak of the last bull market. I chased every hotspot, and the unrealized profits made me mistakenly believe in my own strength. It wasn't until a sharp correction devoured most of my profits that I understood: the "awareness" of a bull market is about having the courage to execute profit-taking discipline against human nature when the market is at its most frenzied.

The subsequent bear market became my testing ground. Watching my assets continuously shrink, anxiety became the norm. But I didn't leave; instead, I chose to "lie down" and learn: delving into macroeconomics, dissecting project white papers, and reading a wealth of quality analyses in Gate's square. I started a strict dollar-cost averaging plan, no longer predicting the market bottom, but focusing on accumulation. The "calm" of the bear market is rationality that persists in executing the plan amid extreme fear, planting the seeds for my future in the winter.

Today, I am no longer that novice who chases the market. I am grateful for this journey and for the encounter with the Gate platform. Investing is ultimately a practice of cultivating the mind, and I hope we can all maintain independent thinking and grow steadily together.
