The recent trend of MOODENG was a bit fierce, and the technical indicators suddenly turned bearish across the board.
First, let's look at the indicators. The 4-hour RSI has dropped directly to 21.3, which has entered the deep oversold zone. More importantly, the MACD has shown a death cross at both the 15-minute and 4-hour levels, coupled with all moving averages trending downward across various time frames, indicating a clear bearish pressure in the short to medium term. In terms of price, there has recently been a rapid pullback of 3.11%, suggesting that the bearish forces have been sufficiently released.
Let's talk about the order book data. Although the buy side looks slightly stronger, the long-short ratio is only 0.8, indicating that the bears are still dominant. The funding rate is now ridiculously low, almost at ground level, which usually means that the main players and large holders are leaning towards the bearish side. The volume of active buying and selling has almost gone to zero, and the overall market sentiment clearly leans bearish.
From a technical perspective, this combination of oversold + death cross + bearish dominance indeed provides a nice entry window for short sellers. If you are looking to short, you might consider positioning in the range of 0.082821-0.084158, aiming for a target around 0.081011-0.081824, with a profit-taking margin of approximately 2.4%.
That said, with such large market fluctuations, position control and stop-loss settings must be done well; don't go all in just because of a single signal. Technical analysis is only a reference, and risk management is the key to long-term survival.
