Let's talk about the correlation between gold and BTC.
Gold has risen 40% in the last 5 months, the last time it surged like this was from March to August 2020, when it increased by 43%, after which it entered a more than 3-year period of consolidation.
From March to August 2020, BTC rose by 168%, which is more than gold, but it had just recovered from the drop during the 312 crash, and compared to the price before 312, it hasn't risen much.
During those months, the real protagonist was gold.
But after gold peaked and started to fluctuate, BTC rose from around 10,000 all the way to 63,000!
It seems that gold has also entered a phase of volatility after reaching its peak. We cannot simply apply previous experiences and say that BTC will definitely increase by a certain multiple, but at least there should be a decent bull market coming up. It's too early to call a bear market now.
The market trend from 2020 to 2021 was due to massive monetary easing. Although this time is different, we are still in a rate-cutting cycle, and the Federal Reserve has also stopped tapering.
Moreover, today the US debt has exceeded 38 trillion dollars, and there is not a small amount of capital in the market. The fact that gold, an asset where large amounts of capital are concentrated, has risen like this this year indicates that the situation is not simple.
The crypto market is still oscillating, just be patient and wait for it to finish consolidating. The market will definitely go up in the end.
