2025 Conference Schedule
In 2025, the FOMC plans to hold 8 meetings, with the specific dates as follows:
January 28-29 March 18-19 May 6-7 June 17-18 July 29-30 September 16-17 October 28-29 December 9-10
2026 Conference Agenda
In 2026, the FOMC has scheduled 8 meetings, with the specific dates as follows:
January 27-28 March 17-18 April 28-29 June 16-17 July 28-29 September 15-16 October 27-28 December 8-9
It is worth noting that the date for the first meeting in 2027 has also been set for January 26-27.
Policy Statement and Press Conference
As usual, the FOMC will release its policy statement at 2:00 PM Eastern Time on the second day of each regular meeting. Immediately afterward, the Federal Reserve Chairman will hold a press conference at 2:30 PM Eastern Time to provide a detailed interpretation of the meeting's decision and answer questions from the media.
The outcomes of these meetings often have a significant impact on global financial markets, including interest rates, exchange rates, stock markets, and commodity prices. Investors and analysts typically pay close attention to these meetings for clues about the direction of U.S. monetary policy.
It should be noted that although this schedule provides important reference for the market, specific policy decisions will still depend on the economic conditions and financial environment at that time. Investors should consider multiple factors when making decisions, rather than relying solely on the meeting agenda.
