The Bitcoin Series 1 (Bitcoin, abbreviated as BTC) is a decentralized digital currency based on blockchain technology, proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 and officially born in 2009.

Basic Principle
Decentralization
- The Bitcoin network is maintained by numerous nodes around the world, with no central authority controlling it. Transaction validation and recording are completed by the nodes.
Blockchain technology
- Transaction data is packaged into blocks, linked in chronological order to form a chain, with each block containing the hash value of the previous block, ensuring that the data is immutable.
Proof of Work (PoW)
- Miners compete for the right to record transactions by solving complex mathematical problems, and upon success, add a new Block to the Blockchain, receiving Bitcoin rewards to ensure network security.
