# What's Going On with that "Insufficient Balance" Error in Web3 Wallets

So you're trying to pull tokens from your web3 wallet. Boom—"insufficient balance" message pops up. Annoying, right?

It seems you've run into a classic crypto headache. No gas money.

Blockchain still wants its cut in 2025. Every single transaction needs a bit of the network's native token for processing. Kind of surprising how many people miss this detail.

Need to move ERC-20 tokens? You'll need some ETH. Different network, different fuel.

The fix is simple enough. Grab some of the network's native token. Transfer it over. That's it.

You might have tons of the token you're trying to withdraw. Doesn't matter. Without gas money, you're stuck.

I've noticed many folks think certain networks offer free transactions now. Not really true. Layer 2 solutions have gotten cheaper in 2025, sure. But "free" isn't a thing yet.

Get that native token in your wallet. Pay the network fee. Your withdrawals will work fine after that.
