The average height of adult men in different countries
It is interesting to consider how the rise of men differs in various corners of the world. Let's take a look at some illustrative examples:
European countries
Europe has some of the highest indicators. For example, in the Netherlands, the average height of men reaches an impressive 182.54 cm. Other countries in the region are not far behind: Belgium (181.70 cm), Estonia (181.59 cm), and Latvia (181.42 cm).
The Scandinavian countries are also renowned for their high population rise. In Denmark, the average height is 181.39 cm, while in Norway and Sweden it is about 179.75 cm.
Central and Eastern Europe
Countries in this region can also boast high figures. Bosnia and Herzegovina (180.87 cm), Croatia (180.78 cm), and Serbia (180.57 cm) are among the top ten countries with the highest average male height.
Western Europe and English-speaking countries
Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have similar indicators - around 179-177 cm. Australia, Canada, and the USA are also within this range.
Asian countries
There is greater diversity in Asia. South Korea leads with an average of 174.92 cm, followed by Iran (173.57 cm) and Singapore (172.57 cm). China and Japan have average heights of 171.83 cm and 170.82 cm respectively.
Latin America
Argentina leads the region with a figure of 174.62 cm, followed by Brazil (173.55 cm) and Uruguay (173.43 cm).
Africa and the Middle East
These regions show lower figures. Morocco (170.40 cm) and Kenya (169.64 cm) have the highest values, while the average height in Nigeria is 165.91 cm.
South Asia
Countries in South Asia exhibit some of the lowest indicators. In India, the average height for men is 164.95 cm, while in Nepal it is 162.32 cm.
It is important to note that various factors, including genetics, nutrition, and living conditions, affect the average rise. These data reflect averaged figures and do not account for individual differences within each country.
