On September 29, the Gate announced the official launch of its self-developed decentralized perpetual futures trading platform, Gate Perp DEX. This platform is built on the high-performance Layer 2 network Gate Layer and is a significant implementation of Gate's "All in Web3" strategy, aiming to provide users with a high-speed, transparent, and secure derivatives trading experience. Gate Perp DEX features a built-in matching engine that supports high concurrency and low latency trading, allowing users to enter a position simply by connecting their Wallet, truly achieving "connect and use". The platform is compatible with multiple chain networks such as Solana, Ethereum, BSC, and Base, and enables cross-chain communication through LayerZero. Currently, the platform supports 447 markets, offering full margin/isolated margin, two-way/one-way holdings, and a variety of order types, with leverage in the BTC and ETH markets reaching up to 125 times. The order book model optimizes spreads and depth, providing a professional experience close to that of a CEX. Assets are managed by on-chain ledgers and audit contracts, ensuring security and transparency. Additionally, Gate Perp DEX's public testing has been open since September 29, allowing users to participate in rewards and competitions, with a maximum of 500 GT Airdrop available for individual users.
