Airdrop Weekly Report | Polymarket Potentially Planning Token Airdrop, Sui Name Service Opens Token Claims (11.11-11.17)

I've been tracking the latest airdrops from November 11th to 17th, and honestly, the landscape is getting more crowded by the week. Let me break down what I've discovered - some genuinely interesting opportunities mixed with the usual hype.

XION

This Layer 1 project developed by Burnt company just opened their token airdrop query on November 12th. I'm somewhat skeptical about yet another L1 solution claiming to be "designed for consumer adoption" - aren't they all? Still, they've managed to secure over $36M in funding, which gives them some credibility.

They're distributing 10 million XION tokens (5% of the total 200 million supply) to users who participated in their testnet, community activities, or were active in ecosystem partner communities. The snapshots were mainly taken on March 6th and July 15th, 2024.

Sui Name Service

The domain name project on Sui opened their NS token airdrop on November 14th. If you're holding one of their NFTs, you can claim tokens through their website. The project raised undisclosed funding from Sui/Mysten Labs back in October 2022.

The NS token is currently trading at $0.41, which feels quite modest compared to some of the more hyped domain service tokens we've seen in the past.

DOGIN

This is just another meme coin on Base trying to capitalize on Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) concept. They're calling it Department Of Government Inefficiency (D.O.G.I.N). I've seen dozens of these opportunistic meme coins come and go.

Base NFT holders, GSWIFT stakers, GS Pay participants, and those who played games or participated in SpartaDex's public sale can claim tokens. It's trading at a measly $0.0019, which isn't surprising for these types of projects.

iLoop

This LST protocol on Solana announced on November 14th they're airdropping vLoop tokens to wallets holding LST and LRT assets on Solana. No disclosed funding info, and the token isn't listed yet. Could be worth looking into if you're already deep in the Solana LST ecosystem.

New Interactable Projects/Tasks

Ethereum Layer 2 protocol Lisk announced its mainnet launch and upcoming airdrop starting November 21st. Users can earn points by completing tasks on the Lisk platform, determining how many LSK tokens they'll receive.

Interestingly, Lisk was originally launched in 2016 as a Layer 1 blockchain but pivoted to an Ethereum L2 in December 2023. They raised $5.6M through an ICO in March 2016, so they've been around the block.

Important Airdrop News

  • Polymarket considering $50M raise for token airdrop

According to platform traders, Polymarket has hinted that users reinvesting bonuses into other betting activities may qualify for higher future rewards. With 235,300 active users in October, they're clearly building a substantial user base. Their CEO claims they're not open to US users, which is always the tricky part with prediction markets. The Information reports they're considering raising $50M and launching their own token - though I'd take this with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.

  • Zircuit: ZRC airdrop claims until December

In their first week, the ZRC Fairdrop had over 190,000 eligible EIGEN holders with 51,000 claims. The deadline is in December, and they're working with major exchanges to airdrop ZRC to EIGEN holders on CEXs as well. Standard airdrop playbook.

  • Pendle launching yield trading platform Boros

Pendle announced their yield trading platform Boros (formerly Pendle V3), taking a snapshot on January 1, 2025. Individual vePENDLE holders will get airdrops from collected protocol points. They're distributing tokens like sENA, REZ, ETHFI, PUFFER, EIGEN, and COOK. The protocol is also changing income distribution: 80% to vePENDLE, 10% to treasury, and 10% to operations.

  • BBQCoin airdropping to DEXX theft victims

This TON-based AI meme coin announced a "dream fund" plan to airdrop tokens to users who lost funds in the DEXX theft. Victims can fill out forms and register addresses to claim. I'm usually wary of these "compensation" airdrops - they rarely match the value lost.
