Analyst Liang Qiu: 9.5 Bitcoin follows the 112000 level for gains and losses. Ethereum is weakly consolidating and will further retrace.
Bitcoin fell from its early high yesterday all the way down to 109300 before rebounding again in the early morning. It is currently in a sideways oscillation pattern, having attempted to break through 112000 multiple times without success. There is resistance above and support below, placing it in a typical range-bound oscillation pattern. The technical indicators show weakening momentum, the Bollinger Bands are narrowing, and trading volume has shrunk drastically, leaving the market lacking a clear directional driver in the short term. After a pullback from high levels, the daily chart formed consecutive bearish candles, followed by a rebound in the early morning, but the trend has not broken, still exhibiting a bearish trend. The MACD shows dominant bearish strength, and the EMA on a 2-hour basis displays a bearish arrangement, with prices running below all moving averages, further confirming the bearish trend on the daily level.
Ethereum has been in a horizontal downward pattern since yesterday's drop, with weaker rebound strength. Neither technical indicators nor external conditions have formed a clear single-directional driver. From a technical perspective, short-term moving averages have formed a golden cross, with prices breaking through long-term moving averages accompanied by a bullish engulfing pattern, indicating some rebound momentum. However, a significant reduction in trading volume has led to a divergence between volume and price, weakening the effectiveness of the increase and necessitating caution against the possibility of a false breakout. The candlestick chart has consistently closed lower, showing a fluctuating downward trend. The MACD on a 2-hour basis is dominated by bearish signals, and the EMA moving averages exhibit a bearish arrangement, confirming the downward trend.
Trading advice for Bitcoin around 111300 to 111800, target near 109500; for Ethereum around 4330 to 4360, target near 4240.
