Changpeng Zhao: "Bitcoin will become the world's reserve currency"

The founder of Binance noted that recently more and more companies, especially from the traditional financial sector of the global economy, are creating reserves of Bitcoins for long-term storage. Corporations are issuing multi-million bonds to purchase Bitcoin. Therefore, Bitcoin is confidently moving towards becoming the main reserve currency, the businessman explained.

"We are witnessing the evolution of the financial sector. It is nice to see that ordinary financial industries and even governments are accepting not only Bit but also other cryptocurrencies. The crypto industry has come a long way to this point," said Zhao.
According to BTC Treasuries, around 17 companies made their first purchase of Bitcoin in the last month. In total, 310 legal entities currently own Bitcoin. More than a third belongs to public companies (178). This number also includes 61 limited liability companies and 44 funds. The majority of legal entities purchasing Bitcoin are located in the USA, with 43 companies registered in Canada, 20 in the UK, and the remaining 22 in Japan and Hong Kong.
When the first cryptocurrency reached a new all-time high in July, surpassing the $122,000 mark, Zhao reminded traders that this is just the beginning of Bitcoin's bull rally, ready to take on new heights.

A few days ago, Zhao stated that central bank digital currencies are becoming useless due to the rapid development of stablecoins, which simplify money transfers and international settlements.
