#BTC On January 10, 2011, Sergey Mavrodi announced in his video blog the creation of a new project, "MMM-2011: We Can Do a Lot!". In his blog, Mavrodi initially called the project a financial pyramid and warned of the possible loss of funds at any time.

On December 6, 2015, Mavrodi published a statement about the cessation of MMM operations in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan and declared MMM sites operating in these countries fraudulent [43].

In early 2014, the MMM Global Republic of Bitcoin "social and financial network" was launched with a 100% monthly yield. The provision of "help" and its receipt were carried out exclusively through the Bitcoin system. On April 8, 2016, Mavrodiannounced the closure of this project, but national projects with a 30% monthly yield remained.
