Last week I traveled to the south, originally wanting to completely relax, holding an iced Americano in my left hand and scrolling on my phone with my right hand to enjoy a slow life. As a result, the announcement of Sapien's TGE suddenly popped up, instantly pulling me back from vacation mode to reality. Goodness, this is not a time to relax; it's just like changing locations to continue grinding!

What's even more outrageous is that ever since @KaitoAI's leaderboard came out, all kinds of competitive players have rushed in, and within the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee, you can see people frantically competing for rankings. What happened to the promised laid-back travel? Now even visiting a night market has to be timed, fearing that their ranking might be surpassed. This is the special forces tourism of Web3!
No instant noodles in the bag, only data quality.
@JoinSapien It's like a "blockchain tour group"—only we aren't carrying little flags and sunscreen, but high-quality AI data. On this "digital journey," I've taken on the role of "data tour guide," with the daily task of selecting "attraction-level data" for the AI model (e.g., accurately labeling vehicle locations).
The most exciting part is their "travel group assessment": you need a task accuracy rate of ≥80% to receive the full payment (equivalent to a five-star review), 65%-80% feels like a barely passing free travel guide, while anything below 65% is considered "lost"—a complete waste of effort! This is much stricter than the shopping tour I signed up for in Thailand, but thinking about it, if AI ingests dirty data, the generated travel guide might lead you to mistake an elephant for a bus...
Token unlock? This is an installment payment travel package.
On August 20th, the TGE (equivalent to the project's "Opening Day") is coming soon, and the official suddenly changed the "ticket rules": it was originally promised to provide the full tour guide fee on that day, but now it has turned into sending 30% cash first, with the remaining 70% to be paid in three months - it feels just like a travel agency's installment payment!
Although it seems a bit sudden, it actually makes sense upon careful consideration: if everyone were to dump their tokens and run on the day of the TGE, wouldn't the project just become a "one-day tour for slaughtering customers"? Now, this way, it can filter out those "check-in tourists" and leave us who genuinely want to build the "AI data attraction."
Future Outlook: We want to be the "Michelin Guide" of the AI world.
@JoinSapien What moves me the most is its collaboration with @billions_ntwk on "real person verification", which cements credibility on the blockchain. In the future, the data used by AI will have to be like the "Michelin star certification" in the tourism industry, and we early contributors are the first batch of "food critics".
The project has now signed contracts with over 30 companies, which is equivalent to finding a stable customer base for the "tour group". If we can really establish AI data quality standards, we "data guides" might even be able to collect "royalties" in the future! The TGE "departure" is in three days, and I am already ready to continue this exciting "digital adventure", after all, who wouldn't want to leave their travel mark in the history of AI development?
